The "Fado" is a charming sailboat of the brand Westerly, with the specific type Regatta 260. Built in 1994, this boat has proven over the years. With a length of 7.87 meters and a width of 2.70 meters, the "Fado" offers enough space to comfortably enjoy sailing trips and vacations on the water.
The hull of this boat has a classic round bilge shape and is powered by a Volvo Penta MD10 engine with 10 hp, which provides a maximum speed of 10 km/h. The engine is well maintained, with only 750 running hours and is equipped with a saildrive cuff (replaced in 2021). With a 40-liter diesel fuel tank, you will have enough fuel for your adventures.
As for accommodation, the "Fado" offers a warm and cozy living space. The inside is equipped with a dining area, comfortable pillows, a shower, microwave, mattresses and curtains for privacy. The compact but practical galley is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. In addition, there is a spacious salon with a chart table and a round seat with plenty of storage space underneath. A cozy double bed can be found in the forepeak, while the stern features a double bed on the port side and a full-size wet room on the starboard side.
The boat is well equipped with navigation equipment, including a compass, depth gauge, autopilot and log speedometer. The Raymarine Tridata i50 depth sounder and speedometer were installed in 2017, giving you accurate navigation data.
In terms of rigging, the "Fado" has an aluminum mast and two sails (mainsail and genoa) in adequate condition. The headsail is equipped with a furling system for easy sailing.
The exterior of the boat is also well appointed with a swim platform equipped with a stainless steel swim ladder, a spacious cockpit with comfortable seating and all lines led to the cockpit for easy sailing. Fenders and lines are available, as well as a gray spray hood and covers for the mainsail and genoa.
Safety is a priority on board, with a fire extinguisher, electric bilge pump and other safety features. In addition, the boat can pass under bridges to reach the Randmeren, increasing the possibilities for your boating adventures.
