Features The Westerly range - one of the most famous names in British boat building history who defined the cruising yacht market in the 1970's and 80's - and they most certainly have relevance today. Appreciated for their robustness of construction (Lloyds approved), spacious interiors and powerful engines, Westerly's are iconic in sailing circles. The Konsort was the inspiration of Jack Laurent Giles who, as Westerly's main designer for the era, had the remit to create a modern yacht with maximised interior volume and a cruising performance - he certainly achieved this in the Konsort confirmed by in excess of 700 productions over a12 year period. 'Aquilo' has a relatively new engine (2014), been regularly used and maintained - new rigging in 2020 and other upgrades like a new mainsail in 2022. She is easily sailed shorthanded with her furling systems. This yacht is sensibly priced!
