Dear Sir or Madam,We offer a sailing yacht of the type "Salty Dog 27" for disposal. This yacht is from the year 1979 and is equipped with an electric outboard motor of the brand "ePropulsion" with a power of 6 kW. The yacht also has two large batteries.The yacht has suffered significant damage due to storm damage, which is detailed as follows:- The electric outboard motor fell off during the storm and was underwater. The mount for it is also bent.- The forestay is bent.- A part of the hull on the port side of the yacht has severe damage of about 3 meters, which has led to the ingress of rainwater. This has also damaged the gunwale and the deck-hull bond over this length.Despite these damages, the yacht has potential for disposal.The boat includes a 6 km/h trailer, which received a vehicle pass earlier this year. It is also worth mentioning the newly made rudder blade made of solid oak bars, handmade by a master carpenter. The underwater hull was completely stripped down to the gelcoat by the owner and rebuilt with 8 layers of Gelshield 200 and two layers of Antifouling Cruiser 250.Insert: No signs of incipient or existing osmosis were found during the removal of the old coatings.The switch panels of the electrical system have been renewed. The 12V onboard network is supplied by 2 100Ah AGM batteries, which are only 3 years old. The boat is equipped with a mainsail, a working jib, and a genoa. In addition, there is a gennaker in a storage tube. All sails are in a used but usable condition. The sprayhood is almost new, as is the lazy bag.
