The first boat from the iconic shipyard in Finland. A boat with a unique history and sailed with the same crew for over 40 years.
In the early seventies, five young men left Nautor to start their own boatyard. The founders had a passion for boats, new technology, and a clear goal - to build lighter, stiffer, and faster sailboats. The iconic shipyard Baltic Yachts has since launched over 550 boats and built a strong brand on the international scene.
On the occasion of Baltic Yachts' 50th anniversary, the owner contacted the shipyard with an idea to carry out an extensive refit. The idea was very well received by the shipyard, and the work began. In 2022 and 2023, QUEEN ANNE underwent a thorough overhaul, and everything on board was inspected. The old Perkins engine was replaced with a modern Yanmar, the hull and deck were painted with Awlgrip, and the foredeck received a custom hatch. The rudder was removed and new bearings were installed, all winches were renovated, and a complete navigation equipment from B&G was installed.
QUEEN ANNE is in excellent condition, and thanks to a skilled owner and a comprehensive refit, she is ready for new adventures, a boat that will stand the test of time for future generations.
The boat is located in Sjølyst Marina in Oslo.
