Well-equipped and much loved David Thomas designed Hydro 28 ‘Rampart’. A perfect, well balanced cruiser racer, either for a family who intend to cruise and club race or for a team who would like to do competitive IRC racing.
We race her regularly on Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland and for the last number of years have cruised as a family to the western Isles of Scotland for more than 3 weeks at a time. Rampart is as capable and safe making offshore passages as she is around the cans inshore. A complete 2023 survey is available on request where the yacht was given a very impressive report stating that she is very well maintained and in sound condition throughout.
