Yacht for Sale

For sale is a heavily damaged Beneteau First 45 Yacht, currently on land on the Baltic Sea. The boat is being sold on behalf and is listed in a salvage auction. Please note that salvage conditions apply according to the German Civil Code (BGB). The boat is only offered as a whole.

Description of damages:

• The damages are concentrated on the starboard side, starting from the last railing support aft to the second railing support forward.
• Structural damages, including destroyed rubbing strakes, broken fender strips, wood and metal damages, as well as bent and broken parts.
• Severe scratches on the exterior hull and damages down to the gelcoat.
• Cracks in the window trim and scratch marks on the port side.
• Scratches and damages on the anti-fouling below the waterline.
• Rust marks on the keel-hull fastenings/rivets that need to be sanded and repaired.
• Additional damages to the bow plate and anchor locker.
• Aft area and steering systems are not damaged, no deformations.
• Rust marks on the keel-hull fastenings/rivets that need to be sanded and repaired.

Interior:

• No further damages on the port side aft, storage for eleven Elvström sails.
• Perkins engine in the engine room with water-oil mixture in the bilge.
• Rear starboard cabin damaged up to the window frame, headliner broken, cracks in the headliner.
• Minor fractures and cracks in the fiberglass area and behind the cabinet.
• Water ingress in the electrical system, visible cracks in electrical components and cables.
• Severe white stress marks over a length of over 6 meters.
• Structural damages not only on the exterior hull but also in the ceiling headliner near the forward window in the salon.
• Wooden backrest and drawers heavily warped, may need to be straightened and replaced.
• Front cabin on starboard side with wood deformation and additional blocking of the headliner.

Deck:

• Bent railing supports and hole strips from the eighth railing support to the forwardmost.
• Missing area on starboard and port side.
• Screwed teak deck needs to be renewed.
• Damaged connection between deck and hull at the forward plate.
• Required replacement of the wood protection rubbing strake.
• Replacement of the plexiglass trim strip on starboard and port side.
