A Catalina Yacht of the model C30, built in 1992 and made of durable polyester. With an impressive length of 960 cm, a width of 330 cm and a draft of 130 cm, this sailboat embodies not only elegance but also performance.
The hull made of polyester, underwent a thorough maintenance in May 2023. All old layers of paint were removed, and the hull was given two coats of Hempel 2-component epoxy paint, followed by two coats of Hempel underwater paint and two coats of antifouling. This careful treatment guarantees not only a stunning appearance but also optimal performance on the water. The hull is osmosis-free, according to the owner's statement.
The boat is registered in the Polish registry under the number POL000CR0. Documentation, including original manufacturer's documents and Polish registration documents are present.
Inside, the boat can accommodate 5 people in fixed berths and an additional 2 berths if needed. With a headroom of 186 cm, the interior feels spacious and comfortable. Accommodations include modern amenities such as a freezer, microwave, stove, refrigerator, oven and a separate dining area. The shower provides extra comfort during longer trips.
The Catalina Yatch C30 is powered by a 1990 UNIVERSAL M25XP engine with 23 hp. The engine has 120 running hours and is electrically started. With a maximum speed of 10 mph and a fuel tank capacity of 80 liters, the boat offers both power and efficiency.
The electrical system includes three batteries, a battery charger, an inverter, a solar panel, shore power, an alternator and a wind generator. Navigation instruments such as a compass, depth sounder, autopilot, VHF radio, speedometer, wind meter and GPS ensure safe and controlled sailing.
With an aluminum mast and three sails, the Time Machine promises impressive sailing performance. The sails have been well maintained.
The boat is equipped with all the necessary deck amenities, including two anchors, an electric windlass, a sprayhood, a bimini, outdoor cushions, a swim ladder, a cockpit table, fenders, sea railing and a Hiram dinghy with hard floor propelled by a Moja 4 hp outboard motor.
Safety comes first with amenities such as a life buoy, fire extinguisher, self-draining cockpit, life raft, life jackets and an electric bilge pump. Additional safety equipment includes an ACR Pathfinder 3, SART, satellite phone and a Spot X.
