There's is no need to introduce this vessel's designer, highly respected and renowned yacht designer, Jean-Marie Finot. There are many of these hardy cruisers sailing the world that have been designed by Finot and his team in France.
This yacht was almost the last of this particular design built, over three hundred were completed. She was professionally built in France under the direction of her original owner and launched in 1995. She was cruising the Med with her owner for a few years before being sold to her current owners who took her back to the Azores where they lived. After many preparations and upgrades they set off and cruised to the Caribbean, through the Panama canal and into the Pacific. They arrived in these waters in November 2022.
The yacht is a very beamy type, excellent decks for working, a good hard dodger and very secure cockpit. Tiller steered with a very powerful linear drive autopilot connected to the rudder shaft, the yacht has proved to be a safe and comfortable passage maker. She has a very good electrical set up and is completely self sufficient, new gel batteries, solar panels and wind generator c/w independent controllers. As added security against electrolysis she has a bi-polar distribution panel using two-pole switches to prevent any risk of current leakage from the negative or positive side when the circuit is not powered. The hull will survey well.
