Fortuna 35 Segelyacht

You have a small budget but want to become a boat owner? This Fortuna 35 could be the right sailboat for you. With a few renovations and some craftsmanship, you can make the boat shine again.

The first owner started the construction of the hull built by Fortuna shipyard in the late 1960s. The boat belonged to the second owner since 1974, who completed the interior. In the early 90s, the sailboat received a new engine (Volvo Penta 2003T with currently 1778 hours), the instruments were probably replaced about 20 years ago, the mainsail comes from a Bavaria 34, and the self-tailing winches were newly installed.

There is some work to be done on this boat. The deck has soft spots - not a problem for relaxed Baltic Sea trips, but if you plan on doing large offshore journeys, the deck should be renovated. It is also not 100% known if all windows are really watertight. Maybe sew new covers for the cushions and lay a new carpet. Freshly paint the bilge, and so on. The new owner should bring not only craftsmanship but also a spirit of exploration because a detailed introduction to the ship's peculiarities is not possible due to the owner's death. However, with a small budget, you have the opportunity to realize the dream of owning your own cruising yacht.
