This Contest 46 built in 1989, is designed as a world cruiser that meets all wishes. It doesn't matter whether it's for a long trip, longer trips or Day sailing, it meets all expectations in terms of safety and comfort. Even in light winds of eight to ten knots, the Contest reaches speeds of five to six knots upwind and downwind, from wind speeds of 16-18 knots a speed of seven to eight and a half knots. In bad weather and rough seas, the fixed pilothouse and center cockpit give the sailors protection and safety. Life is comfortable in port or at anchor. All in all a safe, fast sailing vessel.
