The Jason is one of the last built of the Norlin 37 type. This Norlin 37A is a further developed Norlin 37 MKII and has a modern layout with a double bed aft. Peter Norlin's design is known for her excellent sailing characteristics. This vessel is from the 2nd Dutch owner and is optimized for racing and long trips at sea. The Jason has a deep keel version of 2.07 meters. The current owner has sailed the CAM race a total of 5 times between 2010 and 2022 and has sailed the second place three times and third place once. It has also sailed from the Channel Islands to the west coast of Sweden. An extensive sailing wardrobe is available. In 2007 a new teak deck was laid which still looks beautiful. The interior has a marine feel with lots of teak. There is a front cabin with double bed and an aft cabin with double bed. The saloon is spacious with 2 longitudinal benches and an extra sea berth with sling sail. The Jason is ready to sail nice long trips with the new owner. The ship can be visited by appointment in Dronten. VAT is demonstrably paid.Renewals:2022 - genoa II of M-Sails2022 - new rod 17 forestay and new backstay2020 - new AGM light battery2018 - rigging renewed (dyform)2018 - boom renewed2017 - saildrive cuff replaced2015 - cushions in saloon replacedGeneral:Name ship Jason, Norlin 37A, length 11.05 m, width 3.60 m, draft 2.07 m, built 1983, builder Rex Marin AB Henån Sweden, designer Peter Norlin, round bilge, fin keel, construction material polyester sandwich, teak deck, waterdisplacement 8,120 kg, ballast 4.200 kg, steering wheel steering, anchor with anchor line, stainless steel bathing ladder, life buoy, life raft (inspection valid until Feb 2023), perspex windows, interior paneling teak, 7 berths, 2 cabins, headroom saloon 1.90 m, bed length forecabin 2.03 m, bed length longitudinal seats port side 1.88 m, starboard 2.14 m, bed length aft cabin 1.83 m.Engine:Engine type Volvo Penta MD2040B, 40 hp, build number 5101642326, year 1996, diesel, saildrive, cuff replaced 2017, indirect cooling, Volvo Penta 2-blade folding propeller, stainless steel 316 fuel tank 65 liters, tachometer, hour meter (display does not give readout, estimated running hours 2,800), signal for oil pressure and temperature, VDO fuel level gauge.Rigging:Air draught 18.00 m, top rigged, UK de Vries mainsail (2012), Hagoort mainsail battened ca. 33 M2 (2001), genoa 1 Ter Heege ca. 62 M2, genoa II M-Sails ca. 52 M2 (2022), genoa III Hagoort ca. 40 m2 (2010), genoa IV Ter Heege ca. 30 m2, Reckmann furling jib installation, spinnaker Ter Heege ca. 140 m2, spinnaker heavy weather ca. 75 M2, tour spinnaker with hose ca. 120 M2, Dyform rigging, forestay rod 17, backstay with Navtec hydraulic backstay tensioner and babystay with hydraulic tensioner, removable backstays, sprayhood, cockpit tent, winter tent, 6 winches: 2 times Lewmar ST48, 2 times LWemar ST43, 2 times Lewmar 40.Navigation and equipment:1x starter battery, extra large AGM light battery(2020), 12 Volt system, Mastervolt Battery Monitor, shore power connection, battery charger, Mastervolt 12/300 inverter 300 Watts, Sestrel Moore compass at helm, VDO depth sounder, VDO sumlog analog, VDO windset analog, Furuno GP-32 GPS, Garmin GPSmap 902 chartplotter, Icom IC-M506 VHF with 2nd handset outside, Icom handheld VHF, AIS send and receive, Nasa Navtex Pro, Kannad Epirb (valid until Oct 2023), Hertz radioplayer, Kenwood SSB radio, Raymarine EVO-100 wheeldrive autopilot with P70S display, navigation lights.Gas and water:Stainless steel 316 water tank 250 liters, VDO water level gauge, electric water pressure system, electric toilet, stainless steel 316 holding tank 40 liters, refrigerator, Force 10 stove (gas) 3-burner, oven, 2 times 5 kg gas bottles stainless steel, Eberspächer Airtronic D4 hot air heating on diesel.Disclaimer:All information is provided to the best of our knowledge and belief, however yacht brokerage eSailing is not liable for the quality and/or description of the vessel.
