The Impression 514 feels measured and elegant. Credit for this goes to Rob Humphreys, who was good at marrying a hull with generous sections with a deckhouse on two levels. The aft area is entirely occupied by the cockpit, the real strength of the Impression 514 by virtue of its organization and its width. The front part of the superstructure is particularly comfortable for those who want to use the bow triangle. Apart from the large table with foldable half-shelves equipped with refrigerator, storage compartment and swivel support for the external GPS and radar repeater, the system for the return of halyards, hooks and lines dedicated to adjusting the mainsail is ingenious.

Towards the stern there are two twin double cabins, with their dedicated bathrooms, lockers and lockers.
