The RM 1260 designed by Marc Lombard and built by Fora Marine she is a real "jewel" of 40 feet, eager to sail on a cruising sailboat very powerful, elegant and easy to master. The RM 1260’s hull design is inspired directly by ocean-racing yachts: power and stability are the outstanding features, her obvious bilges chines in the hull promise rigidity, stability and performance. viewing Highly recommended. Construction RM builds its hulls in marine ply and epoxy with GRP decks and they adds a galvanized steel grid to support the keel: La Girafe has the Bilge keel option and single rudder. She has never been bareboat chartered nor has she had any groundings or other major incidents. As a commercial vessel she has been subject to the usual MCA Coding 5 year commercial safety and condition survey schedule. She has been maintained over that period to a high standard by the owner and is in good condition. Since her purchase in late 2017 she has been operated between the months of April and September and has been wintered ashore in Clyde Marina. She has been polished and underwater sections sanded and a single coat of Cruiser Uno antifouling applied annually Prior to her purchase by the owner in 2017 she had been very lightly used, the engine had been run for 109 hours and the sails were unused. Since her purchase in 2017 she has had considerable expenses made on her. 3 bladed folding propellor 2018 Asym Spinnaker and pole 2018 Spinnaker pole 2018 Storm Jib 2018 Webasto heating 2018 New fuel tanks 2019 3 x Rolls Royce 116A AGM batteries 2022 New Raymarine Axiom MFD’s 2022 Stack pack replaced 2023 Windlass motor replaced 2023 Sail drive gasket replaced 2023 Saloon upholstery replaced 2023 LED lighting throughout 2018 Features Plotter Spinnaker pole Radio Gennaker cruising spinnaker Log speedometer Radar reflector Shore power inlet Fully battened mainsail Gps Depthsounder Vhf Refrigerator Compass Cockpit speakers Navigation center Battery charger Lazyjacks Autopilot Spray hood Swimming ladder Electric bilge pump Marine head Oven Storm jib Liferaft Furling genoa Lazy bag Steering wheel Heating Wind speed and direction Cd player Genoa - (stay-sail) Manual bilge pump In this case we are acting as brokers only.
