I just purchased a new home, and will have no time for sailing the next years or two, sad to give up this wonderful boat!!!
I was brand new to sailing, and owned this boat for a year. The MAXI 68 is perfect to learn sailing, it is very forgiving when you make mistakes.
-completely newly rewired with perfect fuses and switches. Safe, clearly marked and labled, fully functional.
-USB charging ports, digital voltage gauge, LED lights everywhere.
-two brand new batteries.
-two solar panels
-instruction manuals provided in waterproof holders for EVERYTHING
-wallas 1300 karosen heater, working.
-Origo 3000 alcholol stove.
-Brand new modern solar controller
-(hidden) sound actuators with Bluetooth (music)
-porta potty
-original sails (main and fore) in working condition
-Plastimo 406 Jib Furler
-motor was tuned up last winter.
-all interior textiles washed in September
-Cobra submersible marine VHF radio with distress button, built in GPS. Installed coax in mast and antenna at top of mast

- RAYMARINE PLOTTER (Built in GPS)!!! A must for the solo sailer (
-Setup for solo sailing. But comfortable for 2 or 3.
-Nexus wind instrument starter kit incl. Depth, temperature, speed. Temp and speed not installed, sensor provided to you if you like to install.
-Includes carbon fiber wind instrument mounted at top of mast.
-antifowling applied in April 2023. Good idea to do it every year, but not required.
-includes anchors, ropes, rigging, bouy hook, gas cans etc etc etc etc.
-basically the boat should have everything you would need, I don’t expect you would need to buy anything.
-fully carpeted boat (outdoor, blue)
-real teak flooring in cockpit
-two different dinner tables outside (small and large)
-My opinion is that you should change the mercury outboard oil and gear oil annually, and I did in March 2023, I also replaced the fuel filter and spark plug. You are probably fine for another year, but if it were me I would clean it up and replace the oil (just a good idea, despite the low hours).
Located at Bjorlanda Kile. Mast is in storage. The boat is covered.
Buyer takes over (prorated) winter storage and storage unit. I'm happy to register you for a summer space and transfer to you. Bjorlanda Kile is a wonderful starting point for sailing.
Everything on this boat is working well, if you wanted a project you could polish the rudder handle and change the engine oil and gear oil, tune up the motor. I'm not aware of anything on this boat that isn't working correctly.
