The Standfast 40 is designer Frans Maas's most successful sailing yacht. The racing yacht, which is over 12 metres long and four metres wide, won the Fastnet race in 1975. The first design dates from 1971, and 116 Standfast 40s were built in various versions until 1984. This Standfast 40 benefits from a newer Yanmar engine (2003) with 40 KW and a nice interior in good shape. New navigation instruments Raymarine i70 displays! The standing rigging was changed in 2019! The teakdek needs attention. Age of the sails is not know, still usable, but would benefit of a control by a sailmaker.
