Discover the unparalleled blend of elegance and world-class craftsmanship in the Tayana 58 Bermudan Cutter Rigged Auxiliary Sailing Yacht, custom-built in 2008 by Ta Yang Yachts, Taiwan. Inspired by the genius of Dutch Naval Architect and designer, Pieter Beeldsnijder, this yacht is a masterpiece that has not only met but exceeded the highest standards. The current owners, veteran yacht owners and seasoned sailors, have commissioned a vessel that encapsulates their lifelong passion for cruising and passage-making in this seventh yacht and their second Tayana, the remarkable 'Mk 4' Tayana 58.
Built for the serious cruiser, the Tayana 58 stands out in its class with a hull that is as durable and versatile as it is safe and high-performing. Notorious for its outstanding handling and sea worthiness, this yacht presents a self-tacking staysail cutter rig that offers a versatile sailing experience, perfect for easy short-handed sailing. The yacht's mid-ships cockpit provides optimal visibility and reliable weather protection. This Tayana 58 is proof that world cruising doesn't necessitate a full crew; with all control lines leading into the cockpit to 4 electric winches, even a retired couple can easily navigate her.
Inside, the Tayana 58 boasts a wide beam that generously accommodates a three-cabin layout, a full stand-up engine room, and a workbench. The deck saloon invites an abundance of light, air, and panoramic views, offering a safe and comfortable environment. Under the raised deck saloon sole, you'll find extra-large tankage for both fuel and water. The renowned teak interior joinery work of Ta Yang adds to the luxurious feel, meticulously maintained and equipped with three air conditioning/heating units. After being built in Taiwan and finely fitted in Hong Kong with sails, electronics, and soft furnishings, she started her blue-water cruising life and is now waiting for her next adventure, currently moored in the stunning waters of Turkey.
