Survey (September 10, 2021 - ENCEE Marine Consultants)
We were given the understanding that this yacht was about 40 years old. The vessel had dry docked at Dalac Marine in Johor, Malaysia, from September 2014 to November 2015 and undergone major refitting and rebuilding.
The Owner had reportedly monitored the entire refitting and rebuilding process. After completion, the present Owner had taken the ownership of this yacht on 01 March 2016. The yacht had been registered under the company ‘De Boot Pte Ltd’.

Summary
After our visual afloat inspection of this yard, we noted that the hull had been maintained in a reasonably sound condition. Compared with our survey records about 5 years ago, the hull was found to be still in similar condition.
The navigational equipment and machinery on board were also noted to be in functioning condition. Customary routine maintenance and monitoring of the hull and machinery had been performed by the Owner. The Owner would also command this yacht himself and he had been certified by MPA to be qualified and had many years of yachting experience to do so. From our inspection this time, we had noted one deficiency and had provided the following recommendation for rectification during the vessel’s next upslip maintenance.
Judging from the overall condition, it is our considered opinion that this yacht should still be suitable for the reported usage.

Works to be undertaken since survey report (above):
Work that needs to be undertaken includes:
- New bow sprit, the existing one has rust so needs to be replaced
- Teak decking is in good shape except for a small section on the forward hatch roof that has come loose, and needs recorking
- Sails haven't been used for a while
- Some lines need to be replaced
- Generator needs to be repaired/replaced
- Needs new tender, outboard and liferaft.
- Antifouling and up-slip
- New through hull for second head, to make second head functional again
- Engine stop cable is broken
