NEW LISTING - OYSTER 82 BILL AND ME
Oyster Brokerage are delighted to announce the listing of 82-12 Bill and Me.
Designed by Rob Humphreys, the first Oyster 82 was launched in 2004. She was the flagship of the Oyster range, and was, until 2011 the launch of the 100, the largest Oyster yacht ever built.
Nonetheless, the 82 is recognisably an Oyster, designed and engineered for effortless long-distance cruising. Elegant and refined, the 82 is beautifully balanced, and light on the helm. 240-mile days become a reality at this size, and whilst big and powerful, the 82 also sparkles in light air.
The spacious split cockpit arrangement, which came to characterise later Oyster designs, is well employed on the 82. The forward cockpit area is secure and well protected, a sociable relaxation area with large cockpit tables offering ‘al fresco’ dining. The working cockpit is aft of this with twin helm positions, winches, and sail control systems positioned for ease of use by the crew.
Below decks, the raised saloon offers panoramic views from the upper saloon, with spacious engine and machinery area below, while the lower saloon forms a comfortable snug just forward of this. The magnificent owner’s stateroom is aft, with two en suite guest double cabins. Crew accommodation is forward, giving great separation and privacy.
