IKIGAI is a unique 82ft sailing yacht designed by Judel & Vrolijk, built by Chantier Naval JFA, and completely refitted and refurbished by the Vitters Shipyard in the Netherlands. The current owner has invested a staggering sum of € 2.3 million in the refit. But it shows! You just can ?t help falling in love with Ikigai?s features. From the sleek lines of the aluminium hull to the teak laid flush decks, from the ample cockpit with twin helm stations to the large lounge areas. Ikigai is sloop-rigged with a carbon mast, a hydraulic furling carbon boom, hydraulic winches and a sail wardrobe which includes a main sail, a genoa, 2 gennakers, a Code 0, a storm jib and a staysail. She is, furthermore, equipped with a 211kW diesel engine, hydraulic bow thruster, generator, lithium batteries, water maker and a complete safety equipment. Further to that, equipped with a full navigation and communication equipment at the chart table and both helm stations, a customized tender, retractable spray dodger, bimini, awnings and covers. On top of that, Ikigai also comes with an arsenal of water toys including a SeaBob, diving gear, paddleboards, water-skis, kitesurf-, snorkel-, fishing gear, and even 4 customized Ping golf sets.

The interior of Ikigai is just as astonishing as the exterior. She seamlessly blends modern design with timeless class and benefits from a reversible air-conditioning system throughout. The ample owner?s stateroom and the two twin bed guest cabins, all with ensuite bathroom, are situated forward. Amidships is the stylish spacious saloon and dining area. Located aft, behind the companionway, you?ll find the navigation station, the fully equipped galley, a crew cabin, and a crew mess. Ikigai is a Japanese term. Literally translated it means: a reason to live. It's a concept that encourages people to find what makes their life worth living. This 82-footer could not have had a better name.
