This 485 has undergone a full professional refit with over £250,000 spent on her from Autumn 2022 until Autumn 2023. Coupled with this, as a CE category A – Ocean yacht, with a 1.6m draught Full Foil Keel she is a great ocean-going yacht with the ability to explore coastal waters.    An overview of the work undertaken between 2022 and 2023     Engine (100HP Yanmar 4JH3-HTE) on shaft drive Engine and folding propellor serviced, prop shaft realigned with cutlass bearings, log bearings, Python drive, bulkhead bearings, lift pump and engine mounts replaced. Rigging Standing rigging replaced and running rigging replaced where necessary. Hull Antifoul blasted back to gelcoat and International Gel Shield epoxy coating system applied with two coats of antifoul. Navigation Navigation refit, bringing her up to date with Raymarine Axiom Pro screens, Raymarine Quantum 2 Dopplar radar, i50 and i60 instruments, new VHF radio at both nav table and helm, plus new nav table lighting.  Electrical System AC charge system was replaced to battery banks, integrating a new 3000w Mastervolt combi charger/inverter and a smaller Mastervolt chargemaster for engine/genset and thruster banks. Bow thruster and Windlass batteries were replaced. Central cabin lights converted to LED, new LED nav lights, new deck lights plus USB points installed Ground Tackle The whole ground tackle has been upgraded with a new Lewmar V4 electric windlass, 40kg Rocna anchor, 100m galvanised 10mm chain, anchor wash point and new, higher output battery. Bow Thruster Overhauled with new gearbox, side power proportional controls and new higher output battery Plumbing Replumbed fresh and black water pipework, with tanks professionally cleaned and stainless tank manifolds manufactured and installed, including NMEA 2000 senders linked to the Raymarine plotters. Fresh Water Twin water pumps installed. New manifold which allows balancing and refilling of tanks, isolating individual outlets and filtration of water to cold taps. Black Water Vac flush pumps and toilets rebuilt with new seals. Macerator pump serviced.
