This Ferro-Cement Island Sun 42 is set up to be a liveaboard but would be more than capable of taking to the seas and going on a journey. She is a twin masted schooner with junk rig sails.

Inside she offers plenty of space, storage and accommodation for up to 8 people but would be perfect for 4 people looking to stay on board for an extended period of time.

The current owner has restored all of the interior and so she presents herself in a very clean and tidy manner. She has also been completely re-wired and so there is plenty of 240v sockets some of which also have USB charging outlets.

The galley is equipped with a 2 burner electric hob, hot and cold water and a fridge.

The head consists of a porta-potti toilet, a basin and a shower.

Up on deck she feels solid and has the advantage of both tiller and wheel steering.

The Boat was last lifted out of the water during September 2023 at which time she was anti fouled, new anodes fitted and the Perkins 404 50hp engine was serviced.

Additional works carried out include:
- Rudder shoe refurbished
- Topsides repainted May 2023
- Hot and Cold water system re-plumbed
- Shore power fitted
- Galley refitted
- Water inlet seacock replaced
