Broker's description Bavaria 38 Ocean is a modern spacious family cruiser. It has many of the same solutions as the well-known shipyards Hallberg-Rassy and Najad. The boat's center cockpit provides an extra large aft cabin, with a large double bed in the middle, a large engine room, good ceiling height in the cabin and plenty of space to stow away things. All halyards and joints are led back to the cockpit behind the windshield, which gives the crew good protection in all weather conditions.
This is a GRP built sailing boat launched in spring 1999 by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH - Germany. J&J design, CE category A certified and built to German Lloyds specifications. Height of the mast excluding antennas is about 16.95 meters, GRP (sandwich) in hull, deck. Teak deck. Bulb at the bottom of the keel where the keel is in lead for increased stability. Self-balancing rudder stock. Approx. 2.9 tons of ballast. Approx. 260 liters of diesel, approx. 420 liters of water, holding tank approx. 60 liters. Whitlock steering pedestal with mechanical steering.
You will find a classic mahogany interior on board, saloon and 2 cabins. You can also sleep in the saloon. The boat has a diesel heater from Webasto from 2023. Electric fresh water system and hot water. In the saloon you will find a "luxurious" atmosphere. The front cabin has a V-bed and then a large "owners cabin" aft.
