The old racer, design by German Frers and built by Royal Huisman, combines great sailing performance with a stiff and safe aluminium hull. Lots of trimming options (for example hydraulic boom vang, backstay) make the boat a fast and fun sailor. The deep keel and big steering wheel let the boat turn precisely, and it sails upwind easily.
After changing the interior, it is now a comfortable but still fast cruising boat. The electric cooking from 100% solar power (750W + 270W solar power and a 560ah lithium battery) make for a safe and renewable energy source. Furthermore, the boat is equipped with all you need to be safe and self-sufficient for months:

Two Main sails and Genua
Gennacker and code 0 for light wind sailing
Rod rig and hydraulic backstay, babystay and boomvang
Navigations system (VHF, AIS, all necessary sensors Raymarine)
Safety equipment (EPIRB, Life-raft with grab bag, life jackets ...)
Electric autopilot
Wind vane steering “Windpilot”
Engine Volvo Penta MD 2030-D 29hp (2005)
12 V system with Engine Battery: 135 Ah lead-acid (2022) and Service Battery: 560 Ah LiFePO4 (2022)
750W + 270W solar panel
3000W Victron inverter

Watermaker (HP SC140)
