Shipmate Senior Jollenkreuzer for Sale

Reluctantly, I am offering my English dinghy cruiser of the Shipmate Senior type for sale due to relocation. We had two very nice years on the waters of Berlin and Müritz.

It is an ideal boat for beginners and couples. It is conceptually designed for the more demanding British coastal waters, forgiving a few mistakes. According to the owner association, there are no documented capsizes, which was important to me. The boat tends to turn into the wind rather than taking on water. The interior is suitable for its size; we traveled for 3 weeks in the northern German lake regions without any issues as a couple.

It has two berths, and a friend who is 195cm tall could sleep comfortably. The interior is kept simple and can be customized as desired.

The boat is made of fiberglass with two bilge keels, allowing it to dry out easily. The centerboard can be easily raised inside, and the system works perfectly.

The boat is ready to sail, although I would have probably repainted the hull in 2-3 years as it was only in saltwater.

It comes with two foresails: a genoa and a jib, both running on a convenient roller system operable from the cockpit. The mainsail is usable, but I would have ordered a new one in the next 2-3 years if I were keeping the boat.

An estimated cost for a new mainsail was 800€.

The boat has a bathing ladder.

Hence the price of 1400€, as I want to be fair in saying that the mainsail would likely need replacement for most new owners.

The boat can be viewed on land in Dresden. It does not come with a trailer. Cushions for interior and exterior, sails, etc., have always been stored indoors.
