The "Kornuit" is a 1977 Baarda Zeegrundel and stands for comfort and reliability on the water. With a length of 9 meters, a width of 3.30 meters and a draft of only 90 centimeters, this vessel is suitable for a variety of waters, including canals and ditches. The spacious accommodation includes a dining area, pillows, shower, oven, refrigerator, mattresses, curtains, stove, microwave and freezer. There are two permanent berths on board, expandable to four berths thanks to the convertible dinette. Hot water is provided by a geyser that runs on gas. The electric toilet is connected to a holding tank.
The 20-hp Bukh diesel engine offers a maximum speed of 12 knots and is started by an electric starting system. Electricity is provided by two batteries with support from a battery charger, inverter, shore power and alternator. Navigation equipment includes a depth sounder, chartplotter, VHF radio, log speed meter and fishfinder.
Externally, the boat is equipped with two anchors with chains, a manual windlass, a swim ladder, outdoor cushions, fenders and lines and a 2-piece winter sail. Safety equipment includes a self-draining cockpit and manual and electric bilge pumps.
