About the Boat

We bought this wonderful sailboat as beginners in sailing in 2018 and spent five beautiful summers on it.

The boat is easy to sail due to its size, even single-handed. With its lifting keel, it can be sailed in the North and Baltic Seas, as well as in inland waters, and is easy to trailer.

We always had the boat professionally cleaned, waxed, and polished after each season. At the start of the 2021 season, we completely renewed the underwater hull with Coppercoat, making maintenance cost-effective for the next few years. The Coppercoat coating has been activated recently and needs to be lightly sanded every two years. Depending on the condition, but no later than 2030, the Coppercoat will need to be reapplied.

During winter, the boat was always stored in a hall. It is currently in winter storage in a hall in Rostock - Gehlsdorf, but will be moved to Oranienburg in a few weeks. Repairs were always carried out by a professional company.

Everything is prepared for the next season. Rigging and setting up, and the season can begin.
