Optimist Dinghy for Sale

For sale is a like-new wooden Optimist Dinghy.

The Opti was built in early 2021 as a pandemic project in my own workshop using mahogany marine plywood. It was glued with epoxy resin for a very stable structure and has been painted twice with DD lacquer.

The Optimist was built exactly according to the construction regulations of the International Optimist Dinghy Association. However, it does not have a measurement mark, so it cannot be sailed in official regattas.

The Optimist has been lightly sailed. It has been sailed by two adults simultaneously, demonstrating its remarkable stability.

The rudder blade may need to be replaced as I used a painted OSB board as a temporary solution, which is starting to swell.

The Optimist is being sold sail-ready with a trolley from Optiparts, a transport cover, a paddle, and a bailer. You can start sailing right away.

I am reluctantly parting with the Optimist as it is not being used by the children.

I am asking for the price of the materials for all parts.

The Optimist can also be delivered within a radius of about 100 km.
