German-owned example of the classic Tjalk, which is a Dutch-built steel boat. Tjalks are relatively wide, spacious, and flat-bottomed sailing ships with side swords.
This fine example has undergone extensive renovation from 2012 to 2017, including sandblasting and painting of the entire hull, complete bottom treatment with new epoxy/primer construction. New interior fittings, new insulation, and a new electrical system, so the boat now appears in a very well-maintained and presentable condition.
Fantastic space on deck and in the cockpit. Interior fittings include a pantry, a large salon with a U-shaped sofa on the port side and a longitudinal sofa on the starboard side. WC room and forward cabin with a double berth. A total of 5 sleeping places on board. Located near Rendsburg, close to the Danish/German border.
Now being sold solely due to the owner's failing health.
All equipment on board is included.
