The Swan 43 and her larger sister the Swan 55 were the most beautiful of all the Swans by Sparkman and Stephens and are not often for sale.
This yacht was built in 1970, hull nr. 48. When I bought it two years ago the last owners before me had owned it for 27 years and had cared for it meticulously.
The yacht is listed in the official SS Swan register.
History since 1995:
1996: Teak deck exchanged and fully glued. Still excellent shape
2005: Epoxytreatment of hull (Walsteds shipyard)
2009: New engine (50 Hk Yanmar) axle and propeller
2017: New standing rigging
2017: Full hull, cockpit and coachroof repaint (Walsteds shipyard)
2022: All seacocks changed
2022: New water tanks
2022: New trim tab fairings
2023: Full new sailing electronics. (Autopilot (Garmin), plotter (Garmin), sailing instruments (Veratron), Windvane (B&G))
2023: Inner removable forestay
2023: Harken top down furler for gennaker
Mainsail 2019. Genua is of older date, but still ok for touring. Gennaker is old.
Machine serviced every year, last valve adjustment 2021.
Central heating works on both shorepower and diesel.
The yacht can be viewed from end April. It will go indoors in May, where the varnishing and antifouling will be done professionally. The boat should be ready for sailing mid June.Additional Informations
