After 19 years with our beautiful dream boat, it is time to pass on her care to a younger crew. Omega 42 has the classic lines of how a boat should look, often attracting admirers who want to peek inside. The boat's designer Peter Norlin was so pleased with the boat that he had one privately.

Omega 42 has a large sail area with a simple rig, making her easy to sail. You quickly become popular among other sailors as both the cockpit and the salon are large and spacious.

During our ownership, we have made the following improvements:

• New engine since 2015, but it is not used much as this is a sailboat.
• Well maintained and refurbished since we took over the boat in 2005.
• New inner ceilings with built-in LED dimmers in the salon and galley, new galley design with a large custom-built refrigerator of about 55 liters (Isotherm).
• Blasted hull that has been epoxy treated and painted with anti-fouling paint to suit Lake Mälaren.
• New rudder bearings. Large sail wardrobe with spinnaker and gennaker. Autopilot and heavily built bow ladder.
