Boat Information

Price is negotiable.

Built to order in 1963, designed by Bruno Boström, commissioned by the owner of the Waidele record stores, the boat is number 1 of two built. The model served as the basis for later models, but those were built in plastic.

The boat was constructed at the Arendal shipyard in Gothenburg. It features clinker-built hull in Honduras mahogany. Incredibly beautiful lines, especially the deck and transom, make it clear that it is one of a kind.

Originally built as a racing boat, it has won the Gotland Runt and Skaw Race, but for the past 37 years, it has been used as a family boat with the same owner. Everything is beautifully crafted and has stood up well to the challenges of time. Recent repairs include refurbishment of the thighs, parts of the deck, and parts of the cockpit have been replaced, as well as a minor repair to the transom. The keel (iron with stainless keel bolts) and rudder are of good quality.

The boat is dry but takes a while to swell; it is currently in the water, but the engine is not working. The engine is an inboard Yanmar 1GM10 and needs renovation or replacement. This is why the boat is for sale, offering the opportunity to own this unique boat.
