Boat Description

22 feet, 6.64 meters with a retractable keel. A wonderful and fun fast boat with quick responses and sails well. The cockpit is impressively large for the size of the boat, accommodating 4 adults easily on a sunny afternoon cruise, and even up to 6 adults. For overnight trips, it can sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Everything on the boat is set up to make it easy and smooth to go on a lovely trip and then pack everything up afterwards. Sailing is handled with ease, as well as launching, retrieval, and winter storage. Stepping and unstepping the mast is done quickly and easily by 2 people without needing a mast crane.

Many of the equipment has been updated/renovated:

• New sails from Boding in PBX laminate, used for about 10 hours. (The old sail set of jib and mainsail in Dacron, which is still usable, is also included).
• Gennacker North Sail.
• Updated rigging installed with the new sails for better performance, including new spinlock jammers, spinlock blocks, kicker, outhaul, and cunningham.
• The engine is a Mercury 4hp four-stroke, completely serviced with a new carburetor, impeller, etc.
• The boat also has a stack pack for the mainsail, making it super easy to set sail and pack up after sailing. The jib is roller furling as original.
• Original cushions and interior in good condition.
• Stern ladder.
• Bow sprit installed.
• Custom-made bags for winter storage of sails, cushions, lifelines, and shrouds for easy organization and storage during the winter.
• Custom cover and mast cover made by Kapell å Sånt for winter storage of the boat.
• There is also a "supstuga" (likely the only Sun 2000 with one) sewn and built by Kapell å Sånt.
• Most running rigging has been replaced in the last 2 years.
• The trailer the boat is on was inspected last fall, with two more years left on the inspection. Tires and brakes have been recently replaced and are in good condition.
