Boat Sale Information

We have made some changes at short notice for the start of the season and are selling our well-maintained Rebell Seaskip 2, built in 1977:

• Length: 7.60m
• Width: 2.45m
• Draft: approximately 1.20m (keelboat)

Headroom about 170cm

The Seaskip is prepared for the season, already polished and painted with antifouling.

There is always some work to be done on an old boat, but major issues are not expected here. The deck is stiff, no signs of osmosis, and the upholstery still looks good.

The sail inventory includes:

• Main sail in good condition
• Storm jib, older but intact
• Jib 1 in good condition
• Jib 2 still sail-worthy but not in great condition

Below deck, there is a dinette with a lowering table (realistically a large sleeping area), a long dog berth, and the forepeak for 2 people. It is equipped with a 2-burner spirit stove, a refrigerator, and a modern switch panel. The old marine toilet has been replaced with a Porta Potti, but the connections/seacocks for the marine toilet are still functional.

The DHI lighting works, battery and charger are on board, and the well-rigged rig is securely stayed - a double forestay is available for the headsails.

Although the Seaskip is not a racing machine, it sails decently close to the wind with the deep keel and is very safe at sea.

The outboard motor is stowed in the well and provides good maneuverability by directing the rudder flow and does not submerge in waves. This also eliminates the risk of facing a total loss with an old diesel engine in case of necessary replacement.

Essential accessories such as anchor, fenders, mooring lines, compass, etc., are on board.

Tasks to be done when convenient:

• The sprayhood needs to be resewn or replaced
• The keel has been sanded and rebuilt with Owatrol, Primocon, and then antifouling. However, we could not smooth it out at the current temperatures
• The windows are currently watertight, but there are old moisture spots on the wood inside. This may need attention

We hope the condition is evident from the pictures.

Additionally, we would include a 24V electric outboard motor from Fox with 100LBS thrust, two separate 12V 180ah AGM batteries, and a charger (Seatec Multi XT 14000). These parts come from our new boat, are untested but presumed to be in working order, and have propelled a 2-ton vessel on an inland lake.

We need our combustion engine for the new boat.

Optionally, there is a nearly new genoa available for 500 euros.

For possible transportation (rental) or purchase, a 3.5-ton trailer from Echtermann is available. It is registered in 1990 and has MOT until 10/2024. The trailer would cost an additional 2500 euros and will only be offered separately after the sale of the boat.

The boat is located at Ancora Marina in Neustadt (Holstein) and is available for viewing by appointment. It will be ready for immediate use after lifting and motor installation.
