For a symbolic price, we reluctantly offer our ETAP 28 to someone who enjoys working on boats and has time to spare. This is a wonderful opportunity to own a boat!

The hull and deck of the boat have been completely sanded down and rebuilt with 2K paint. The antifouling (Copper Coat) is also new.

After the boat has been on land for almost 1.5 years for renovation work, we have unfortunately discovered distortions in the hull and a crack in one of the stringers.

A repair and reinforcement of the stringers can fix the distortions and stabilize the hull. We had the boat inspected by a boat builder who explained the necessary steps. It is doable, but we lack the capacity. We do not have enough time and expertise. Since we cannot afford a repair at the shipyard, we have reluctantly decided to essentially give away the boat.

Repairing the stringers is a major project, but for someone willing to take it on, a great boat awaits.

We invested several hundred hours of work and a lot of money into the boat last year, and we want to pass it on to loving hands so it can be used for many more years.

All fittings have been removed. If someone wants to use the boat for water travel or as a houseboat instead of sailing, that is also possible without the fittings.

The draft is only 125 cm, making it suitable for both the Berlin and Mecklenburg lake areas as well as the Baltic Sea. It has sailed in the North Sea until 2022.

A special feature of ETAPs is that they are unsinkable due to a double-shell construction filled with foam. This makes the boat very well insulated in both summer and winter.

In addition to reinforcing the stringers, there are a few more measures to be taken. The hatches need to be reinstalled, and the windows in the salon are missing on the left and right. The fittings need to be reattached and sealed. A new rub rail also needs to be installed.

The current engine (Volvo Penta md7a) is likely not functional, but we have a replacement engine, the same model, in very good, barely used condition, that we can include. We can surely come to an agreement on that. There is also a lot of accessories available, such as 2 sets of cushions, an anchor, stove and gas bottle, small TV, etc. If interested, please inquire for more details.

Inside, there is a salon with a fold-out double berth and a single berth, as well as a kitchen area with sink and navigation table. In the bow, there is a double berth. In between is a small bathroom with sink and toilet.

The boat is located on an island in the Dahme and will be back in the water in mid-April. It could be picked up from April 15th. A boat with a strong engine would be needed to move it alongside. Insurance can be taken over.
