Owner’s Cabin

The forward end is effectively the owner’s suite, complete with dedicated head and shower facilities. The head is sufficiently sized to have space for a separate shower area forward of the heads sited at the aft end across from the sink and vanity unit. The heads are fitted with teak grates to provide a self-draining non-slip surface. A large double berth is offset to port in the owner’s cabin. The owner’s cabin features ample storage provided in a selection of drawers beneath the berth and generous cupboards above. To starboard rather that the standard seating unit, is a custom-built dresser unit. The 8” thick sprung owner’s suite mattress was custom made and fitted in 2018. To Starboard of the owner’s cabin, rather than the standard seating unit, is a custom-built dresser unit.

Salon and Galley

The salon is laid out with the large salon table and wrap-around seating to port. Storage is provided behind the seat back together with opening lockers above.

There are bookshelves with folding holders which enable easy access to the books while holding them while sailing.

On the starboard side there is a bar area and neighboring locker with custom cut spots to suit glasses which are included with the sales inventory. Down the starboard side of the saloon is a large chart table and separate navigator’s sea, as well as a working area with full suite of Raytheon instruments. Storage provided for large quantity of charts along with other gear, in a selection of lockers, drawers and bookshelves.

The galley area is situated aft of the navigator’s work area. It has an U-shaped layout. Utilization of space is maximized through use of a pullout chopping board, which serves as both a worktop extension and/or infill over the double stainless-steel sink. Storage is generous including deep under-counter storage, multiple cupboards, drawers and a stand-alone multi-level dish storage cabinet. There is a kitchen fan above the three-unit hob and the oven.

Guest/Day Head and Aft Cabins

Directly opposite the galley is the main head compartment with WC, vanity and separate shower area. The head has a connecting interior door for direct access into the port-side aft cabin. Teak sole grates are fitted throughout the heads, providing a self-draining non-slip surface.

Aft, either side of the companionway are the port and starboard aft cabins. Both berths feature queen-sized berths with white ultra-leather seating and ample stowage for two crews member’s belongings. Storage includes hanging lockers, cupboards, and under-bunk areas. Both cabins are fitted with mattresses with zipper and seamless joining flap to accommodate lee cloth fittings.

Owner’s Comments

We have bought Lightfall in Stenungsund Sweden in 2000. It was transported via a RORO ship to Izmir. My wife and I have sailed her in the Aegean waters of Turkey an Greece. She has been mostly kept at Bodrum Marina and for the last 3 years is at  the Kos Marina.

She is registered at Delaware USA.

We are reluctantly selling Lightfall as we have grown somewhat old for sailing, while she is very reliable and comfortable to handle with its sail plan and rigging layout.
