Originally ordered with shallower than standard draft to allow access to more cruising grounds around the world and an extended transom to provide even more storage space in the lazarette, GRILLO PARLANTE was launched in the summer of 2003 as the last of 10 Swan 77's built by the Nautor yard in Finland. A perfect combination of build quality, performance and cruising comfort, the Swan 77 semi-custom series has earned a formidable reputation amongst discerning yachtsmen as a fast and sea kindly performance cruiser.

RCD Status:
Our understanding is that Grillo Parlante is CE certified for category A - Ocean

Hull Construction:
Hull construction in monolithic glass fibre reinforced Vinylester laminate with aramid used to reinforce the hull stiffeners.
Structural bulkheads.
Topsides repainted in 2018 Awlgrip in dark blue with white cove stripe and double-stripe boot top.
Dark-blazed hull side windows adjacent to saloon to increase natural light below decks.

Deck & Superstructure Construction:
Deck construction is GRP sandwich with high density core used at any hi-load points.
Teak on side decks, bridge deck, cockpit soles, seats and bathing platform - replaced 2018
Teak toerail inside composite bulwark.
Teak footrests in cockpit and around grinding pedestals.

Keel & Rudder:
2.95m shallow draft lead keel, externally bolted with acid-resistant stainless steel bolts

Deckhead panels installed in all accommodation areas and covered with Almond coloured Ultraleather.
Floorboards of sandwich construction, top face is teak with holly stripes varnished with six coats of polyurethane varnish to have the same satin finish as the rest of the interior.
