Windjutter recently underwent a major refit of both hull and electronics (Victron and Raymarine).
The underwater hull was made bare (no osmosis at all, but after 25 years in was time for a new build up of paint) and professionally built up again with 5 high grade Hempel epoxy layers, finished with 2 layers of antifouling. The hull is made of full GRP. Also all the through hulls and seacocks have been renewed.
The upper hull was professionally spraypainted to perfection. The woodwork has been repainted in the winter of 2022-2023 with two-component in several layers of clearcoat varnish. The boat has not been in the water in the 2023 season.
The charging and electronics sections have been replaced with Victron and Raymarine equipment:
Raymarine: Plotter: Axiom Pro 9s, Tailor made autopilot based on Evolution EV-200 with lineair drive Type 1, Wind, Speed, Depth: i70s, VHF inside and outside
Victron charger, Lynx Smart BMS 500, integration with Sunware 60W solar panel, LifePo4 Smart Lithium battery 330Ah. Integrated EasyTRX2-S AIS Transponder with WIFI. Starter battery: Mastervolt 70 Ah.
Teakdeck renewed in 2005 and still in excellent condition because it was replaced with the best teak money could buy and it was properly maintained.
Mast and booms:
Mast: Aluminium Sparcraft powder coated (Neutmast) - 2009/2010
Boom: Aluminium Sparcraft poedercoat RAL 1013 (Neutmast) - 2009/2010,
Spinnaker boom stored against the mast.
Sails:
NorthSails Furling Jib with 3 vertical battens (2009)
Sail materials: Main sail De Vries M7.5 oz, North Sails Furling Jib 8,52 oz NorDac, North SAils Genua II 7 oz Nordac
I do not have the m2 sizes of high aspect Jib and Genoas.
All sails are in very good condition.
Reefing: Harken 2018 (Harken MK1V unit 1)
Neptune mattresses in front cabin and one berth in the back. Liferaft tested 28-1-2022.
The boat has been stored indoors for each fall / winter season for at least the last 30 years and has been meticulously cared for by us (since 2015) and the previous owners for 19 years before that.
Servicing has always been professionally executed by professionals and all invoices are available. The engine has been replaced with a perfect serviced and running Yanmar 3YM30 from 2011. It has proven to be very reliable.
The boat is currently in her summer berth in Friesland, The Netherlands. She will be available for viewings in the harbour on Fridays after appointment until somewhere mid July. After that the boat will be placed in storage.
Please bear in mind that I will be happy to meet you for viewing if you are truly serious in buying and owning a special Koopmans yacht of this kind. If you first need to sell your current boat, please do that before you contact me. Questions about "lowest price" will not be answered. This is not an emergency sale. I do not live around the corner of the harbour. Thank you for understanding.
