We have for the last 5 years owned and sailed the 8mCR - 1914, Anker / Jensen design Carmen IV of Norway.
There is now a time which we would like to consider a sale of this fine yacht.

The boat seems spartan inside, with just a new toilet in front of the mast and a double berth in the bow. The saloon consists of two sofas and in the back there is two berths, one either side underneath the cockpit. No galley, no water tanks. A light boat for racing.

There is a 6 year old VP engine in the boat, fuel tank below floors inside and instruments in the cockpit.

The topsides are made of mahogany - white painted.
Below the waterline the hull is made of oregon pine,
Deck is white with mahogany sideboards.

Double sail wardrobe (used) and a spruce mast + boom. 2 years old rolling forestay and lazy jack system.

The boat has a reputation for sailing very good in light winds and is classed as a 8mtrR and has sailed like an R in regattas like Europe Week in Oslo, races in Laboe, Europe Week in Svendborg and it even won the first overnight regatta Færder in Norway.

This could be a nice and cheap entry to 8mtr racing class boat for the right person.
Will be put in the water within two weeks and rigged ready for sailing on the 1 of may.

Standard fall, spectra tau, grei tilstand. Ikke nye. Skjøter samme, de er ikke nye men i god stand. Flere sett av all løpende rigg.
