This is a beautiful 40ft steel sailing yacht, built by HJB Harlinger Yachtbouw in 1993 and designed by Van de Stadt & Partners.
This HJB Cumulant 40 is blessed with excellent sailing capabilities and has a light-blue and white superstructure. The interior design is surpisingly spacious. Fabulous woodwork and upholstery. Headroom up to 2.20m and spacious beds (2 cabins, each two persons, plus 2 berth in the saloon). Good quality galley with all necessary comforts. Quality Yanmar diesel engine, 47HP. 2 Toilets (one electric) and shower.
The Cumulant 40 has a strong construction, with a hydraulic lifting-keel and twin rudders so she can run dry. Also this allows for variable draft (1.20m-2.20m), which makes it possible to reach the nice and quiet places, others won't be able to go. Sloop rigged with two fore-sails (Genua and aspect-jib), full-battened mainsail and a blister.
And if the weather gets rough, she's still a pleasure to sail. Very strong and safe! The yacht is kept in very good condition by the third owner since new.
