The yard of Camper and Nicholsons in Gosport was one of the most revered yacht builders in the world. Established in 1863 the company had been producing vessels of all sizes and shapes for commercial and private customers before the advent of GRP production boat building. With the introduction of modern mass production techniques in the 1950’s and 60’s the company moved into production yacht building offering a full range of yachts.

The Nicholson 39 is a development of the earlier Nicholson 38 which had proved to be a very popular cruising yacht and very capable offshore cruiser. With her more modern styling and now familiar centre cockpit type layout on deck. The Nicholson 39 offers significantly more living space below decks with two spacious double cabins, two heads and linear galley unlike anything else offered at the time. A lovely original example of the class TANDARA is offered for sale with a comprehensive inventory including highlights such as:
