Year Built
1992
Arguably one of the qualitatively best boats ever built by Bavaria to Lloyds Ocean standard and designed by Axel Mohnhaupt. With her heavy displacement and strong build, she is very suitable for comfortable cruising/liveaboard and is highly regarded for her excellent all-weather sailing abilities.

She is easily handled by a crew of two and not difficult to sail single-handed.

The boat is equipped with a new solar panel array with a substantial stainless steel arch, a dinghy with outboard engine, a life raft and a Volvo Penta 55 hp engine.

With 4 cabins and a huge saloon Matilda makes a very suitable liveaboard/long-term cruiser for a couple or family with ample space for visiting guests. She has high quality woodwork below deck in mahogany with a satin finish varnish. The deck is finished in synthetic teak giving a durable and easily maintained surface. All control lines are led back to the cockpit for easy, safe handling.

We have made a long family trip on board Matilda with 3 kids from Northern Italy to Gibraltar and back to Corfu, where she lays now. She was never used in charter before. She is registered under Italian flag.
