1980 Formosa Spindrift 44 - USD 90,000

EASTWIND was designed by Ron Amy and built by the Formosa Boat Builders, Taiwan.  EASTWIND has only had one owner.  The owner commissioned the designer, Ron Amy, to work with the boat builder during its construction to ensure the boat met all design specifications.  Since its launch in 1980 EASTWIND has benefited from one owner who has meticulously maintained the boat and engine, as the boat is his pride and joy.  In February 2024 the owner renewed the teak deck.  The ONAN 6.5kw generator and PUR Power Survivor 80 II water maker gives the boat additional self-sufficiency.  She has excellent fuel and water capacity.

Living aboard is extremely comfortable with air conditioning in the saloon and mid cabin.  There is a large saloon and galley, two bathrooms, one with a shower room.  All interior wood is teak.  The fine sailing characteristics and construction of EASTWIND will have wide appeal.

A three double cabin boat with additional sleeping capacity in the saloon, EASTWIND is a spacious home afloat and perfectly self-sufficient.
