The Splash is a Friendship 25ts cabin sailboat, built in 1987 of polyester. With a length of 780 cm, a width of 250 cm and a draft of 72 cm, this boat offers a solid and spacious sailing experience. The headroom is 1100 cm. Inside the cabin there is a headroom of 185 cm, and the boat offers four permanent berths without additional berths.
There is documentation in the form of leaflets of the boat and bills for a new mast foot/mast and furling jib from 2012. The general condition of the boat is good and the last time the boat was out of the water for maintenance and antifouling treatment was six years ago.A known defect is that the keel centerboard does not come down, making the daggerboard depth 72 cm.
The Splash was built at Jachtwerf Meijer and designed by Koos de Ridder. The hull has a v-bottom shape. Steering is via a tiller on the outside and the boat has a single rudder. The weight of the boat is 1400 kg.
Accommodation on board consists of a refrigerator, pillows, mattresses and a stove. There is no hot water and the water tank has a capacity of 40 liters. The toilet discharges directly into the open water and there is no heating on board.
The engine is a Yamaha 2-stroke engine with an output of 8 hp, built on July 6, 1994. The engine starts manually and is working. The boat has a maximum speed of 15 km/h and consumes 1 liter of gasoline per hour. The fuel tank has a capacity of 10 liters. Additional gauges include a speedometer, wind meter and depth gauge. Electrical amenities include a 220V shore power connection, 12V LED lights and a solar panel to recharge the battery.
In terms of electronics and navigation, the Splash is equipped with a compass, depth gauge, wind meter and a log speedometer. There is one battery and the boat has both 220V and 12V power.
The rig consists of a single aluminum mast and two sails: a mainsail and a genoa, both in adequate condition. The headsail has a furling system with profile.
Exterior equipment includes a swim ladder, fenders and lines, and a sea railing. There is one anchor with line and a manual anchor winch. The boat is also equipped with a self-draining cockpit.
