Hunter Yachts 450DS

Swallow is a Hunter 450 Passage, built in the USA and launched in 2000.

In 2015, the owners purchased her in the Med from other Kiwis and have spent the European summers exploring all the wonders of the area.

It has now come the time for a new project, so is the ideal opportunity for like-minded Kiwis to purchase with the advantage in getting the knowledge and guidance of the current seasoned owners.



Swallow is perfectly equipped for cruising the Med and improvements and equipment were progressively added. She is to be sold with all equipment and tools ready for cruising.



Swallow sails well shorthanded with roller furling on Genoa, main, and staysail and an MPS with sock. She is extensively equipped including a new 2.9 ultralight Highfield Hypalon dinghy + 15hp Yamaha, a washing machine, 8kw generator, 2 kw inverter, air conditioning units in all cabins and a 78 LPH watermaker. Swallow is spacious in the cockpit and below with great headroom. The standing rigging was renewed this year. A joy to live in and sail.



New Zealand registered, so easy to change ownership

Note the boat is not EU VAT paid so Swallow has to leave the EU for a at least a day every 18 months; this can be extended in some Med countries like Greece by 6 months if laid up ashore for that time. Gibraltar, Montenegro, Turkey, Albania, Morocco are all great places to visit and to roll over the EU time allowance.
