Built in 1978 at the Kooiman and De Vries shipyard, the Vollenhovense Bol embodies the timeless beauty and character of traditional flat-bottomed sailing vessels. With its articulated hull and wooden mast, this quaint little vessel exudes a nostalgic charm that lovers of authentic ships will love.
With a length of 8.10 meters and a width of 2.50 meters, this flat-bottomed boat offers enough space to stay comfortably during long sailing trips. Accommodations include a cozy dining area, comfortable mattresses, a stove and curtains for privacy. The addition of a radio, VHF radio and autopilot facilitates communication and navigation on board.
The boat is equipped with a Sabb diesel engine, with 18 hp and two cylinders, which propels the boat effortlessly through the water. With a maximum speed of 5 km/h, this boat is suitable for leisurely trips along coastlines and inland waterways.
