Are you going on a long-distance sailing trip? Will you be living on your boat? Or do you need a spacious yet fantastically well-sailing touring boat, then this legendary Phantom 42 is a great choice for your next boat.
The Phantom 42 is famous in long-distance sailing circles for being an incredibly safe, comfortable and dry boat to sail in rough weather. Some of the boats have been used extensively for circumnavigations. This Phantom 42 with build no. 4, has had 2 owners who have taken very good care of it and it has been continuously upgraded with various equipment.
Built in the period 82/83 in fiberglass reinforced polyester, designed by Elvstrøm/Kjærulff, and launched in 1984.
The boat has 6 berths, 2 in the forward cabin, 2 in the aft cabin and 2 separate in the saloon. In addition, oceans of closet and stowage space. Spacious toilet at the forward cabin. Large well-appointed pantry with plenty of table and cupboard space, hot and cold pressurized water and refrigerator. Spacious and cozy saloon with 2 longitudinal sofas and a large folding table and several cupboards at the sides. In general through the boat the headroom is 190cm.
The boat can easily be sailed single-handed, as all sheets are pulled to the cockpit and there are also 2 electric Andersen 52S winches, which makes sail setting and adjustment extremely comfortable. The two forestays make it possible to sail optimally in all weather conditions.
