We have this beautiful sailing boatd since februari 2015 and have enjoyed it very much. This 35s5 has a beautiful interior designed by Philip Stark. De boat has standing height until the front cabin and is spacious with lots of light inside as a result of the special windows. The boat is very complete and is equiped with spinnaker, genaker, high aspect.

What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
The Bateleur is a fast sailing ship. We tend to set the first rif with Bfd 5 and the second with Bfd 6. Especially sailing under spinnaker is a joy, which we do up to Bfd 5. Usually we sail the boat with 4 persons, but I also manage very well only with my wife.
What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
Bateleur: the french name of beautiful bird of prey in Africa, which characteristically soars in the sky with long and fast gliding flights
What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
The home of the Bateleur is our private harbour in Almere Noorderplassen. We are moving to the south of the Netherlands (Limburg), where there is unfortunately no place for the Bateleur.

Markermeer, IJselmeer, North Sea coast, Wadden, Zeeland, Friesland.
