Standard
A good family boat where good layout, good headroom of 190 cm below deck, bathing platform, etc., has been considered.
At the same time, the Slotta 40 CC is an easily maneuverable boat with equipment and rigging that allows it to be sailed single-handedly.

Layout
Easy boarding via bowsprit or aft. Further, you enter a spacious cockpit with benches with teak flooring around the entire steering console. From the helm position, you have a good overview of both the boat and the crew on board. The dashboard has a great design and is tidy and clear with a range of navigation and electronic equipment.
Down the ladder forward from the cockpit, you come down to a spacious salon with good headroom of almost two meters. On the port side, there is a large sofa along the table and two armchairs on the starboard side. Plenty of storage space under the floor. Bathroom/toilet on the port aft with a sink. Double cabin on the starboard aft with a hanging wardrobe for clothes.
Separate chart table on the port side in the salon adjacent to the salon, with a large display for navigation. On the starboard side, there is a longitudinal galley with two cool boxes, a practical sink with two washing bowls, a gas stove with two burners and an oven, a built-in microwave with many functions, and good countertop space. Master cabin in the bow with plenty of closet space and its own bathroom with shower.
Sea Characteristics
The boat is seaworthy with a weight of 8000 kg and is equipped with a hydraulic lifting/lowering keel that gives you a depth difference from 2.40m to 1.40m. The boat is equipped with three electric winches, 2 for genoa sheets and one for mainsail halyard, making the boat easy to maneuver and can be sailed easily without crew. The boat was upgraded below the waterline in 2021 with sanding and new epoxy primer and applied with 5 coats of coppercoat. Very good antifouling with a guaranteed 15-year lifespan. The boat was spray-painted in 2018.
Engine/Equipment
The boat is powered by Volvo Penta D2-55C with 55hp and has a speed of approximately 7 knots. Approximately 1400 engine hours. The boat is also equipped with a bow thruster from Vetus.
Lewmar electric anchor winch forward, as well as electric winch aft with 50 m of anchor chain, installed in 2023.
The boat is located in Mandal and can be inspected there by appointment.
