A very striking production yacht..- twin wheels at the helm, plumb bow with 'dolphin nose' pulpit protecting the anchor, low-profile coachroof, wide side decks with lots of stainless steel hand rails and of course the large cockpit and sugar scoop stern with such easy access to the water. The Gibsea 43 is a good choice for coastal cruising.
This family yacht has always been cared for and maintained thoroughly. Purchased from YBC in 2019 the yacht immediately had a series of improvements as dictated by survey, a new 4000 watt inverter, new fridge with 12/240v switchable controller, all sailing instruments replaced with B&G, a new D400W wind generator, new mainsail.
More recently the engine has been rebuilt, new pistons and rings, all new oil and water pipes, fully refurbished heat exchanger. The house battery bank has been replaced with a CATL 500 amp LiFePO4 lithium battery bank which is maintained by the wind generator and solar panels, there is a new 2000 watt petrol genset for emergency charging.
The yacht has just been re launched after routine hull care… fresh anti foul and new anodes and new shaft seal.
Marina berth at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club.
