Comfortina 44 was built in 1992 at the Comfortina shipyard in Arvika, Sweden.
The boat is a unique one-off, as a prototype for what would later become the Comfortina 42. She was originally made for ambitious racing, which is clearly visible in the layout of the boat both inside and out. Standard equipment means that the sailboat is also well suited for sailing with family and friends or for those who like active sailing.

The cockpit is sturdy and easy to work with for gas and sail handling, and has a bracket for Lagunbord.
A total of 8 winches for furling/trimming sails and the high partial rig, trimmable with back and checkstays in Dyneema. Several sails in different sizes and materials ensure that you can maintain high speed in all wind registers and angles. The Valkyria's low weight and large sail area provide high speed even in light winds. Previously, she had been in UK Syversen or North Sails overhauls and reviews the sails every year.

Inside, she is simply furnished, with everything you could need for comfortable sailing and overnight stays with a total of 8 berths and plenty of stowage space.
The layout can best be described as open. The lounge has plenty of space with an L-shaped kitchenette, longitudinal sofas (sleeps four) and a dining table and attachment for Lagunbord. Forepeak with double berth and two aft cabins each containing a double berth with an extra sea berth above the starboard berth (removable) and vents out to the cockpit.

The boat has been continuously maintained and updated over the years. The engine is regularly serviced, last lap service performed in 2021/2022. In addition to the engine service, the bellows were also changed, a new mattress was fitted and the bottom suction of the fuel tank was carried out.
